Friday, December 28, 2018 - Evening Weather Discussion

Rain ending tonight, then New Year’s Eve rain, and then watching Thursday into next Friday morning…

I have received emails from several people recently who are not receiving notifications from the app. If you are having difficulty receiving notifications, uninstalling and reinstalling the app will fix the problem.

The rain will end this evening, followed by clearing tonight as a disturbance departs our area.

Tomorrow and Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry Sunday in northern parts of our area. Highs tomorrow will range from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s to low 50’s in Central NJ, and will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Sunday.

New Year’s Eve and night rain will be likely as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

New Year’s Day will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Wednesday clouds will increase late in the day with highs in the 30’s.

Next Thursday into Friday morning there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance will develop in the Southeastern United States and then head in our direction. Highs will be in the 30’s Thursday and the mid to upper 30’s Friday.

Next Saturday through Monday will then be nice with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Sunday, and the 30’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Wednesday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Thursday and Friday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s.

Have a wonderful evening!
