Friday, December 28, 2018 - Morning Weather Discussion

Rainy today and New Year’s Eve and then a possible pattern change…

Today will be rainy with highs in the 50’s as a storm system passes through our area.

Tomorrow and Sunday will then be nice with highs tomorrow ranging from the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s to low 50’s in Central NJ tomorrow and in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s Sunday.

New Year’s Eve clouds will increase with rain developing in the afternoon and continuing through the night as a storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

New Year’s Day and next Wednesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s New Year’s Day and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Wednesday.

Thursday there will be a slight chance of snow as a storm system will develop in the Southeastern United States but may remain to our south and east. We will have to wait and see if this storm comes close enough to our area to bring us any snow. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Friday through Monday are then looking nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Friday, the 40’s next Saturday, the 30’s next Sunday, and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a chance of snow as a storm system may develop in the Southeastern United States and then approach our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
