Monday December 24, 2018 - Evening Weather Discussion

Rain and warm Friday and watching New Year’s…

Christmas Day through next Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s to low 40’s Christmas Day, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Wednesday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Thursday.

Friday, there will be rain, heavy at times, as a strong storm system passes through our area. The precipitation could start briefly as a period of freezing rain, sleet or snow in some locations. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Saturday will then be nice with highs in the 40’s.

Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower as a disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the 30’s.

New Year’s Eve there will be a chance of rain or snow developing at night and continuing through New Year’s Day as a strong disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s New Year’s Eve and the mid 30’s to low 40’s New Year’s Day.

Next Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Thursday there will be a chance of rain or snow as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Friday through Sunday will then be nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
