this afternoon and evening in Northeastern PA, and mixing with or changing to
snow in far Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State (excluding Southern
Westchester County), and in Northern Fairfield County, CT. Total ice accumulation
of up to a quarter of an inch, except possibly a half of an inch in the highest
elevations, and total snowfall amounts of a coating to 5 inches possible in
Northeastern PA, a trace to an inch or two in far Northwestern NJ and Orange
County, NY, and a coating to an inch in Northern Westchester and Putnam
Counties in NY, and in Fairfield County, CT. Total rainfall amounts will be up to one and a
half inches, so some flooding is possible. It will also be windy, with gusts up
to 30 mph possible. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s
TOMORROW –
precipitation ending early in the morning on Long Island and in Fairfield County,
CT, then variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in the afternoon or at night, windy, with gusts of up to 40 mph possible, lows in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s
TUESDAY – mostly
sunny, windy in the morning with gusts of up to 40 mph possible, lows in the 20’s, highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s
