Rain will develop this evening and will become heavy at times tomorrow morning as a cold front and strong disturbance pass through our area. The rain will end in the afternoon from west to east across our area. Total rainfall amounts will range from one to three inches throughout our area, so some flooding is likely, especially when combined with snow-melt in parts of our area. Highs tomorrow will be in the morning and will range from the upper 40’s to upper 50’s, with some low 60’s possible in West Central NJ. Temperatures will then fall in the afternoon.
Friday through Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow flurry Saturday and a snow shower Sunday night, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will range from the mid 20’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 30’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island Friday, the 20’s to low 30’s Saturday, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Sunday, and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s Monday.
Tuesday there will be a chance of rain or snow showers in the morning and rain showers in the afternoon and evening as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Tuesday night into next Wednesday morning the rain may change to snow before ending in the morning. Highs Wednesday will range from the upper single digits to low teens in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 20’s in Central NJ and on Long Island.
Next Thursday through Tuesday are then looking nice with highs ranging from the mid to upper single digits in Northeastern PA to the low 20’s in Central NJ and on Long Island next Thursday, to the teens to low 20’s next Friday, the mid teens to mid 20’s next Saturday, the 20’s next Sunday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Monday, and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Tuesday.
