Tomorrow and Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s tomorrow and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Tuesday.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a sight chance of a snow shower or flurry at night as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Thursday clouds will increase with a chance of light snow developing at night as a disturbance and cold front approach from the west. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Friday there will be a chance of light snow, possibly changing to light rain, then ending in the morning as the disturbance departs our area and the cold front passes through. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next weekend things are looking as if they will get quite interesting once again as the cold front that will be passing through our area Friday will likely stall across the Middle Atlantic States. A strong disturbance will then develop along the front over Northern Texas and Southern Oklahoma Friday night. This disturbance will head eastward along the front, likely exiting the coast near the Delmarva Peninsula. There will be very cold air to our north as a strong and large high pressure area will be situated to the north of the storm over Ontario and Quebec. There will also likely be copious amounts of moisture as the storm pulls moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, and then possibly from the Atlantic as well, as it reaches the coast. It will likely take several more days before we will know exactly where this boundary between warm and cold air will develop. One thing that looks fairly certain at this point is that there is likely to be very heavy snowfall to the north of this boundary wherever it does set up, and right now that boundary looks as if it may very well set up very close to, or through our area. Be sure to check back for constant updates throughout the week. The other thing that looks fairly certain at the moment is that the storm will pull in very cold air behind it next Monday and Tuesday.
Saturday clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as the storm system approaches from the west. Highs will range from the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 30’s in Central NJ and on Long Island.
Next Sunday there will be a chance of rain or snow as the storm system passes through our area. Highs will range from the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 30’s in Central NJ and on Long Island.
Next Monday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending early in the morning, followed by clearing, as the storm system pulls away from our area. Lows will range from the single digits in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper teens near the coast and on Long Island, with highs from the low teens in Northeastern PA to the lows 20’s in Central NJ.
Next Tuesday will then be nice, but cold, with lows from the low to mid single digits in Northeastern PA to the low to mid teens near the coast and on Long Island and highs in the 20’s.
Next Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Thursday there will be a chance of rain or snow showers as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Friday there will be a chance of rain or snow showers ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Saturday will then be variably cloudy with highs in the 20’s to low 30’s.
Have a fantastic day!
