Last night the European and British models (the two most accurate models on average) came out with a snowier solution for much of our area. This was a rather significant change from prior runs, so I will now wait just a bit longer before giving snowfall estimates to see if those models continue with that solution.
In that regard, below is the latest run of the British model.
The grey color is a trace to an inch of snowfall accumulation.
The aqua color is 1-3 inches of snowfall accumulation.
The green color is 3-6 inches of snowfall accumulation.
The yellow is 6-9 inches of snowfall accumulation.
The pink is 9-12 inches of snowfall accumulation.
The brown is 12-18 inches of snowfall accumulation.

Notice how this brings the one inch line to the NJ Coast and New York City, and the 3 inch line as far east as about Rt. 287 in Morris County, Northern Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY State, and Northern Fairfield County, CT, and as far south as Trenton, West Central NJ, and Philadelphia. And then it has basically 5-10 inches for most of Northeastern PA.
Again, I am not saying that is what will happen, but it might. We will just have to keep following this today and see what happens.
The European model looks similar, but the European Centre for Medium-Range Forecasting does not permit their maps to be posted.
