Thursday, January 3, 2019 - Evening Weather Discussion

Rain, rain, and more rain, and maybe a touch of snow…

Tomorrow will be nice, but with increasing cloudiness late in the day. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.

Saturday we will have rain, possibly heavy at times in the morning as a storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Sunday will then be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Monday clouds will increase in the morning with a chance of light rain/snow/freezing rain/sleet in the afternoon and at night as a warm front approaches our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s. There could be light accumulations of snow and ice in parts of our area, especially in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT.

Tuesday, any lingering precipitation will change to rain by morning and end by midday as the disturbance and warm front pass through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s.

Wednesday and next Thursday will then be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a snow shower or flurry as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs will be in the 30’s Wednesday and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Thursday.

Next Friday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s.

Next Saturday into Sunday morning there will be a chance of rain or snow as a storm system approaches from the Southeastern United States. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s next Saturday and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Sunday.

Next Monday through Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Monday, the mid to upper 30’s next Tuesday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Wednesday.

Have a wonderful evening!
