Tomorrow will be variably cloudy and windy, with gusts of up to 50 mph possible, especially in the morning, as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will range from the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 40’s on Long Island.
Thursday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry in the morning. Highs will range from the low to mid 20’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 30’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island.
Friday will then be mostly sunny with highs ranging from the upper teens to mid 20’s in Northeastern PA to the low 30’s in Central NJ.
Saturday things may start getting interesting as a disturbance heads eastward through the Gulf Coast States and another weaker disturbance drops down from Canada and through the Great Lakes. These two disturbances will merge in the Ohio and Tennessee River Valleys. Meanwhile a piece of the Polar Vortex will be moving into Southeastern Canada, supplying cold air to the Northeastern and Middle Atlantic States.
This will cause clouds to increase Saturday afternoon in our area, with a chance of snow developing at night, depending upon how far northward this storm goes. Highs Saturday will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Sunday there will then be a chance of snow, depending on how close this storm comes to our area. The storm may develop into a Nor’easter off the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Monday there will be a chance of snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Right now, it is looking as if the heaviest snow along the Eastern Seaboard will set up from Western North Carolina, through Eastern West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and across South Jersey, possibly to Eastern Long Island, Rhode Island, and into Southeastern Massachusetts, but this storm is still a long way off and we will have to wait and see.
Next Tuesday and Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s.
Next Thursday is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Friday and Saturday then look nice with highs in the 30’s.
Next Sunday and Monday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a storm may develop near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Have a wonderful evening!
