Wednesday, January 2, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

A little mixed precipitation possible tomorrow morning, rain Saturday, and then watching Monday night and Tuesday…

Today will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a little light rain, or light freezing rain or light snow in parts of Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, with a coating of ice or snow accumulation possible in some places. Lows will be in the upper 20’s and 30’s with some low 40’s along the coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Friday will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 40’s.

Saturday there will be rain, possibly heavy at times in Central NJ, as a storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s and 40’s.

Sunday will then be nice with highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s.

Monday clouds will increase in the afternoon with a chance of rain, snow, freezing rain, or sleet, developing at night as a storm system approaches the Great Lakes area from the west. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Tuesday there will be a chance of rain or snow as the storm system that reaches the Great Lakes area Monday night may start to re-develop off the NJ Coast. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Next Thursday will be nice with highs in the 30’s.

Next Friday into Saturday morning there will be a slight chance of rain or snow as a storm system may develop off the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Sunday through Tuesday then look nice with highs in the 30’s next Sunday and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday and Tuesday.
