A strong storm system and strong cold front are approaching from the west and will bring parts of our area some heavy rain tomorrow night into Sunday morning. Total rainfall amounts should range from a half of an inch to one and a half inches throughout our area. There could also be some freezing rain in parts of Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, as temperatures may be near freezing in those locations. It will become windy Sunday night with gusts of up to 50 mph possible. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s and on Sunday in the upper 40’s and 50’s.
Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower, snow squall, or snow flurry as a strong cold front passes through our area. It will also be windy with gusts of 50 mph possible. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Tuesday will then be nice, but cold, with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Wednesday clouds will increase with a chance of snow showers or flurries Wednesday night into Thursday morning as a weak disturbance passes near our area. Highs will be in the 20’s Wednesday and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s Thursday.
Next Friday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s.
Saturday there will be a chance of snow as a Nor’easter may develop off the coast of the Southeastern United States and move northeastward. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Next Sunday will then be nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Monday a disturbance may develop in the Southeastern United States and then move in our direction, bringing a chance of snow. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Next Tuesday there will be a chance of snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Wednesday and Thursday then look nice with highs in the 30’s next Wednesday and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Thursday.
