There may be a pattern change in store for us over the next two weeks as it appears the Polar Vortex may be moving into Central Canada, and possibly dropping down into the Central Plains States, rather than into Quebec. This would be more favorable for coastal storms to form, and with cold air in place, that would mean chances for snow, but of course we will have to wait and see what happens.
Today will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Tomorrow rain will develop at night, possibly some freezing rain in Northeastern PA as a storm system approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Sunday there will be rain, possibly heavy at times in the morning. It will then become windy in the afternoon and evening, with gusts of up to 50 mph possible at night. Highs will be in the upper 40’s and 50’s, with some low 60’s in Central NJ.
Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower, snow squall, or flurry. It will be windy, with gusts of up to 55 mph possible. Highs will be in the upper 20’s and 30’s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy and cold with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of some light snow or snow showers as a disturbance passes near our area. Highs will be in the 20’s.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of some light snow or snow showers in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Friday clouds will increase with a chance of snow developing in the afternoon or at night as a disturbance may develop near the coast of the Southeastern United States and then move northeastward. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30’s.
Next Saturday there will be a chance of snow in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Sunday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Next Monday there will be a chance of snow developing in the morning as a storm may develop in the Southeastern United and then move in our direction. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Next Tuesday there will be a chance of snow ending in the morning. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Wednesday and Thursday will then be nice with highs in the low to mid 30’s next Wednesday and the mid to upper 30’s next Thursday.
