It will be mostly sunny and windy through tomorrow with gusts of up to 50 mph possible this evening and 35 mph possible tomorrow. highs tomorrow in the upper 20’s and 30’s.
Wednesday, clouds will increase with a chance of light snow or snow showers in the morning in Northeastern PA, in the afternoon in Orange and Putnam Counties in NY and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, and developing at night in East Central and Northeastern PA, Central and Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, in NYC, on Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will range from the low to mid 20’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 30’s in Central NJ at night.
Thursday the snow will end early in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will range from the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low 40’s in Northeastern PA.
Total possible snowfall accumulation:
Coating to an inch possible: East Central PA, Central NJ, NYC, Western Long island
One to two inches possible: Southern portions of Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Rockland and Westchester Counties in Southeastern NY State, Southwestern Fairfield County, CT, and Eastern Long Island
Two to three inches possible: Northern portions of Northeastern PA, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY, and Northwestern Fairfield County, CT
Saturday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Sunday and next Monday, March 4th are then looking nice, with highs in the 20’s to low 30’s.
Next Tuesday, March 5th, clouds will increase with a chance of snow developing at night as a Nor’easter may form near the Southeastern or Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Wednesday, March 6th, there will be a chance of snow as a Nor’easter may move northward along the East Coast of the United States. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Next Thursday, March 7th through next Saturday, March 10th will then be nice with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s next Thursday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Friday, and the 30’s next Saturday.
Next Sunday, March 11th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain developing at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
