Monday, February 25, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

Very windy today, then chances for some snow…

It will be very windy today with a chance of a snow shower, snow squall, or flurry, as a strong storm system passes through Southern Canada. Winds could gust as high as 65 mph. Highs will range from the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 30’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Western Long Island.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry as some Lake Effect moisture could reach our area. Highs will range from the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 30’s in Central NJ.

Wednesday, clouds will increase with a chance of light snow developing in the afternoon or at night in Northeastern PA, far Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, Long Island, and Fairfield County, CT, as a disturbance passes to our north. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Thursday there will be a chance of light snow, snow showers, or flurries early in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Friday there will be a chance of light snow or snow showers early in the morning as a disturbance passes to our south, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s.

Saturday there will be a chance of light snow, snow showers, or flurries in the morning followed by clearing as a disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Sunday through next Tuesday, March 5th will then be nice with highs in the 20’s to low 30’s Sunday, the 20’s next Monday, and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Tuesday.

Next Wednesday, March 6th there will be a chance of snow as a storm system may develop in the Gulf of Mexico and then turn northeastward up the East Coast of the United States. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Next Thursday, March 7th, through next Sunday, March 10th, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
