Another Update to Snowfall Estimates

Well, the data just unexpectedly changed a bit but actually makes the forecast much easier. I had previously placed large parts of our area in the 1-3 inch range and those areas I am now going to increase to 2-4 and the areas where I had 2-5, I am going to reduce to 2-4.  Keep in mind that some locations may receive slightly less than 2 inches before it starts mixing with sleet, freezing rain, and rain, and some areas may receive a bit more than 4 inches.

Updated snowfall estimates prior to changeover to sleet, freezing rain, and rain:

Two to four inches with locally slightly lower or higher amounts possible: all of Eastern PA, NJ (excluding possibly Cape May County where accumulations may be slightly lower), Southeastern NY State, NYC, Long Island, and Fairfield County, CT

Again, some areas may receive slightly less and some locations may receive slightly more. The most likely areas to receive slightly more would be in parts of Southeastern and East Central PA, and areas that would have the best chance of receiving slightly less would be Cape May County, NJ and Susquehanna County, PA.

More a bit later...
