Some of the latest data that just came out has blown up the Saturday morning disturbance into a full-blown Nor’easter and has also pulled the storm closer to the coast and further north. This would bring areas from East Central PA, eastward through Central and Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, Long Island and Fairfield County, CT the chance for anywhere from 1-6 inches or more of snow. I am going to create a map based on some of the latest data. I am NOT yet ready to make this an official forecast. That will have to wait till early in the morning, but it is absolutely a possibility at this point.
As far as the Sunday night storm goes the latest data has on the other hand brought the storm center right over our area, which would bring more of us rain with the chances for significant snow getting pushed further northwest.
Below is a map for Saturday morning based on the latest data, again this is NOT yet my official forecast, but it is something we are going to have to watch closely overnight.
