Increasing Snowfall Estimates for Tomorrow...

It appears that the disturbance for tomorrow morning is gaining some strength and moisture and moving a bit further north than previously expected. This will likely cause snowfall to be a bit heavier than previously forecast for tomorrow morning.

Estimated start time:

2-3 am:  East Central PA

3-4 am:  Northeastern PA, Central and Northern NJ

4 am:  NYC and Western Long Island

4-5 am:  Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT

5-6 am on Eastern Long Island


Estimate end time:

8-9 am Northeastern PA

10-11 am East Central PA and Northwestern NJ

10-12 am Southeastern NY State

11-12 am Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, Long Island, and Fairfield County, CT


Total possible snowfall accumulation:

Coating to an inch possible:  northern sections of Northeastern PA, far Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT

One to two inches possible:  East Central PA, southern sections of Northeastern PA, Coastal and Cape May NJ, the rest of Northern NJ, NYC, and Long Island

Two to four inches possible:  Southeastern PA and the rest of Southern NJ
