Tomorrow there will be a chance of some light snow or snow showers in the morning and again at night. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Thursday there will be a chance of some light snow in the morning, followed by clearing as a weak disturbance passes to our north. Highs will range from the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 40’s in Central NJ.
Total possible snowfall accumulation:
A trace to a coating possible: East Central PA, Central NJ, NYC, and Western Long Island
A coating to an inch possible: Southern portions of Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southern Orange, Rockland, and Westchester Counties in NY, Southwestern Fairfield County, CT, and Central Long Island
One to two inches possible: Northern portions of Northeastern PA, Northern Orange County and Putnam Counties in NY, and Northwestern Fairfield County, CT
Friday will then be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Saturday a disturbance will approach from the Southeastern United States, causing rain or snow to develop in the morning, likely changing to rain. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Sunday, a strong disturbance may develop in the Southeastern United States and then push northeastward in our direction. This would bring us a chance for snow developing at night, with highs in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Monday, there will be a chance of snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Tuesday, March 5th, through next Saturday, March 9th, will then be nice with highs gradually rising from the 20’s next Tuesday and Wednesday, to the mid 20’s to low 30’s next Thursday, the 30’s next Friday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Saturday.
Next Sunday, March 10th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain showers developing as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Monday, March 11th, there will be a chance of showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
