Tonight, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry and then tomorrow will be nice with highs in the 40’s.
Snow will then develop in Northeastern PA, far Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, with a mixture of rain and snow developing in East Central PA and the rest of Northern NJ, and rain developing elsewhere. Any snow will then change to rain early in the morning, except there could be some freezing rain in parts of Northeastern PA and Northern Orange County, NY. The rain could be heavy at times, ending in the late morning, with some clearing in the afternoon and evening. Highs will range from the mid to upper 40’s in Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT, to the upper 50’s to mid 60’s in Central NJ.
Total possible snowfall accumulation:
Trace to a coating possible: NYC, North Shore of Long Island
Trace to an inch possible: East Central PA, Northeastern NJ, Fairfield County, CT
Coating to an inch or two possible: Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State
Coating to three inches possible: Northeastern PA
Monday through Wednesday will then be nice, but with just a slight chance of a snow shower or flurry Monday night as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will range from the low to mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 50’s in Central NJ Monday, to from the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Central NJ Tuesday, and the 40’s Wednesday.
Thursday will then be nice with a chance of showers developing in the afternoon and at night as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Friday, March 15th, there will be a chance of showers in the morning, followed by clearing, as the cold front passes through our area. It will be warm with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s, as warm air surges northward into our area ahead of the approaching cold front.
Next Saturday, March 16th, through next Tuesday, March 19th, will then be nice with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday through Monday, and the 40’s next Tuesday.
Next Wednesday, March 20th, and next Thursday, March 21st, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a storm may develop along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the 40’s.
