Potential for Power Outages...

One thing I am noticing is that this is a very sticky, heavy, wet snow and it is sticking to all the trees, as temperatures are still near or above freezing in most places. If these higher snowfall amounts do work out as forecast this could cause some tree limbs to come down, which could cause power outages, so please keep that in mind if you are in the heavy snowfall area.

In that regard, here is a photo just submitted by John Pappy Tobin from Aberdeen, Maryland. You can really see it sticking to the trees very well.  Reported a heavy, wet, snow with one inch in the last hour. Thanks for sharing John!

And here is another photo of the snow sticking to the trees, submitted by Brian Muschko in Walnutport, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Thanks for sharing Brain!

And below is a photo I just took of a couple of Doves under my bird feeder in Allamuchy, Warren County, NJ.
