It will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry today and tomorrow as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs will be in the mid teens to mid 20’s today and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s tomorrow.
Friday clouds will increase with a chance of a snow shower or some light snow at night as a weak disturbance passes to our south. There could be a trace to an inch or two of accumulation. Highs will be in the 30’s with some low 40’s in West Central NJ.
Saturday will be nice with highs in the 40’s.
Sunday a strong disturbance will approach from the west and temperatures could still be below freezing in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, the north shore of Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT. This will bring a chance of snow, quickly changing to sleet and freezing rain, eventually changing to rain, and rain elsewhere. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s.
Monday through next Wednesday, March 13th, will then be nice with highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s Monday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s Tuesday, and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Wednesday, March 13th.
Next Thursday, March 14th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain developing at night as a storm system approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Friday, March 15th, and next Saturday, March 16th, there will be a chance of rain with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Friday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday.
Next Sunday, March 17th and next Monday, March 18th, will then be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday, and the 40”s next Monday.
Next Tuesday March 19th there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 40’s.
