Latest Short Range American Model Has Incredibly Heavy Rain in Parts of Our Area This Evening

The latest run of the short-range American model that just came out has incredibly heavy rain in parts of our area this evening, with a maximum of 4.1 inches projected in Monroe County, Pennsylvania.

If these areas of very heavy rain really do develop, there will definitely be severe flash flooding in those locations.

Keep in mind that these bands of very heavy rain should be rather narrow, with significantly lighter amounts in surrounding locations.

If driving this evening, please be on the lookout for the heavy rain, and in cases of flooding, DO NOT travel through flooded roads as you car can easily be washed away, and be careful of hydroplaning on the highways.
