There will be showers and thunderstorms this evening and they could be heavy at times, as a strong disturbance and then cold front pass through our area. There will likely be at least one narrow band of very heavy rain developing somewhere in our area, where up to 3 inches of rain will be possible, while areas nearby may only get a half inch or so. Anyone in the band of very heavy rainfall will experience flash flooding that could be severe. There is also a chance for severe thunderstorms developing throughout our area that could bring strong winds, hail, and there would be a slight possibility of tornadoes.
Tomorrow will then be much nicer, with just a slight chance of a shower/thunderstorm/sprinkle. Highs will be in the 70’s, with some low 80’s possible in West Central PA.
Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm, especially in Northeastern PA, as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 70’s.
Sunday will be cloudy, with showers and possibly a thunderstorm, as the disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s, with some upper 70’s possible in Central NJ.
Monday through Wednesday are then looking nice, but with some increase in cloudiness and a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in northern parts of our area Wednesday night. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Monday, the 60’s Tuesday, and the upper 60’s and 70’s Wednesday.
Next Thursday, June 6th, will be cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s and 70’s.
Next Friday, June 7th and next Saturday, June 8th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.
Next Sunday, June 9th, through next Wednesday, June 12th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as a few disturbance may pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.
