The unbelievable record-breaking heat wave will continue for the rest of the week in the Southeastern United States, with all-time record high temperatures for the month of May being recorded in many locations. Many locations in Georgia, South Carolina, and possibly even into North Carolina could reach 105 degrees tomorrow through Thursday. Just incredible….
In our area, the rain will return tomorrow, with more chances for showers or thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday. At the moment though, things are looking good Friday and Saturday…
Tomorrow rain will develop in the morning, ending at night, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 60’s in Southeastern NY State, Fairfield County, CT, and on Long Island, in the low to mid 70’s in Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, and NYC, the mid to upper 70’s in East Central PA and East Central NJ, and in the low 80’s in West Central NJ.
Wednesday, showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and evening, as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s, but with some upper 70’s in West Central NJ.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms again in the afternoon or evening as another disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
Friday and Saturday are then looking nice with highs in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.
Sunday is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.
Next Monday, June 3rd, through next Wednesday, June 5th, are then looking nice, with highs in the 60’s next Monday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Tuesday, and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, June 4th, and next Friday, June 5th, there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.
Next Saturday, June 6th, and next Sunday, June 7th, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.
