A massive heat wave in the entire Southeastern United
States, and endless chances for showers and thunderstorms in our area…
A massive heavy wave is developing in the Southeastern
United States, and will continue for at least a week, with high temperatures
exceeding 100 degrees in much of Northern Florida, Southeastern Georgia, South Carolina,
and Eastern North Carolina, with the possibility of some places exceeding 105
degrees in these locations, and temperatures exceeding 90 degrees in many
locations as far north as Maryland and Delaware. Luckily, the stationary front
that has been keeping us wet much of this spring will keep most of the hot air
just south of our area, but parts of our area may have some very heavy rain and
flooding.
It will continue to be variably cloudy tonight with a chance
of a shower or thunderstorm this evening and showers and possibly a
thunderstorm will be likely tonight, as a disturbance passes through our area.

afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm in Northeastern PA. Highs will be

in the low to mid 80’s East Central PA, Coastal and Northern NJ, Southeastern NY
State, in NYC, and on Western Long Island, and in the mid to upper 80’s in
inland Central NJ.
Memorial Day will then be nice with highs in the 70’s, but
with some low 80’s possible in Central NJ.
Tuesday, rain will be likely, possibly heavy at times early in
the day, and with some clearing likely at night, as a strong disturbance passes
through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s in Southeastern NY State,
on Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, the mid 60’s to low 70’s in
Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, and in NYC, in the mid 70’s in East Central PA
and East Central NJ, and in the mid to upper 70’s in West Central NJ.
Wednesday there will be another chance for showers and
possibly a thunderstorm, especially in the afternoon, as another disturbance
passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s on Long Island,
in the mid to upper 60’s in Fairfield County, CT, and in NYC, the upper 60’s to
low 70’s along the NJ Coast, in Southeastern NY State, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s
in Northeastern PA, the low to mid 70’s in Northern NJ, and the mid to upper 70’s
in East Central PA and in inland Central NJ.

thunderstorms as another disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs
will be in the low to mid 70’s on Long Island and in Northeastern PA, the mid
to upper 70’s in NYC, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, the upper
70’s to low 80’s along the NJ Coast and in Northern NJ, the low 80’s in East
Central PA, and the mid 80’s in inland Central NJ.
Friday is then looking nice with highs in the upper 60’s to
mid 70’s.

Next Monday, June 3rd, there will be a chance of
showers or thunderstorms, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will
be in the upper 60’s and 70’s.
Next Tuesday, June 4th, through next Friday, June
7th, continue to look variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or
thunderstorm each day as the stationary front looks to remain situated near our
area, with disturbances riding along it. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
