Dorian may devastate the Bahamas but may never actually make landfall on the United States…

Some of the latest data is now indicating that Hurricane Dorian will likely devastate the Bahamas, stalling there for a couple of days as a category 4 hurricane, but will then start turning northward, and then northeastward, paralleling the entire coast of the Southeastern United States, but possibly never actually making landfall anywhere in the United States. This would be excellent news for people along the coast. Click here for the latest information from the National Hurricane Center on Hurricane Dorian.

In our area, today will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance and cold front approach from the west. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Labor Day will mostly cloudy with a chance of shower or thunderstorms as a disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will range from the low 70’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 80’s in Central NJ.

Thursday is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower, as the remnants of Hurricane Dorian could reach our area, maybe. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as the remnants of Dorian may pass through our area, maybe. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Next Saturday, September 7th, there will be a chance of a shower in the morning, followed by clearing, as any remnants from Hurricane Dorian would depart our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Next Sunday, September 8th, through next Thursday, September, 12th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Sunday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Monday, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Tuesday, the low to mid 70’s next Wednesday, and the mid to upper 70’s next Thursday.
