Tuesday, October 15, 2019 - Evening Weather Discussion

Strong Nor’easter to affect our area tomorrow afternoon and evening with strong wind and heavy rain…

Clouds will increase tomorrow with rain developing in the late morning and afternoon form southwest to northeast across our area as two disturbances approach from the west, combining to form a strong Nor’easter over our area tomorrow evening. The rain will become heavy at times late tomorrow afternoon and evening, before ending at night. It will also become windy, with gusts of 20-45 mph possible in the afternoon and evening, and possibly as high as 55 mph across parts of Central NJ and on Long island. There could be flooding in parts of our area with total rainfall amounts ranging from a half of an inch to 2.5 inches through our area. Highs tomorrow will be in the 60’s

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle as the Nor’easter pulls away from our area, especially in Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the 50’s.

Friday and Saturday will then be nice with highs in the 50’s Friday and the mid 50’s to low 60’s Saturday.

Sunday, clouds will increase, with a chance of rain developing at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 60’s.

Monday and next Tuesday , October 22nd, there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 60’s Monday and the 60’s to low 70’s next Tuesday.

Next Wednesday, October 23rd, there will be a chance of a shower as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next Thursday, October 24th, and next Friday, October 25th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next Saturday, October 26th through next Monday, October 28th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Saturday, and the 50’s next Sunday and Monday.
