Tuesday, October 15, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

A strong Nor’easter will bring heavy rain and strong wind to our area tomorrow afternoon and night…

Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.

Tomorrow, two strong disturbances will approach our area from the west, combining and forming a Nor’easter near the NJ Coast and Long Island tomorrow evening This will cause rain to develop in the late morning or early afternoon, becoming heavy at times in the evening, then ending at night. Some flooding is possible, with total rainfall amounts of 1-2.5 inches possible in much of our area. It will be windy, with gusts of 25-45 mph possible.

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower, especially in the morning in Northeastern PA and Southeastern NY State, as the Nor’easter slowly pulls away from our area. Highs will be in the 50’s.

Friday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle in the morning as the Nor’easter finally leaves our area. Highs will range from the low to mid 50’s in Northeastern PA to the low 60’s in Central NJ.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Sunday, clouds will increase late in the day as a storm system approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 60’s.

Monday, there will be a chance of rain developing as the storm system starts to reach our area. Highs will be in the 60’s.

Next Tuesday, October 22nd, there will be a chance of rain as the storm system passes through our area.  Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Next Wednesday, October 23rd, there will be a chance of shower in the morning, followed by variably cloudy skies and a chance of a shower, as the storm system departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next Thursday, October 24th, is then looking nice with highs in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next Friday, October 25th, is looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower at night as a weak disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next Saturday, October 26th, is looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Next Sunday, October 27th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the 50’s.

Next Monday, October 28th, is then looking variably cloudy with highs in the 50’s.
