There will be light rain and drizzle tonight, becoming a bit heavier and steadier tomorrow morning. There could then be a break tomorrow evening before the cold front passes through tomorrow night, bringing a chance of showers and even thunderstorms tomorrow night that could be severe in some locations. Rainfall amounts will range from around .75 inches near the coast and on Eastern Long Island, to .75-1.5 inches in Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, Western Long Island, Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT, 1-2 inches in Northwestern NJ, and 1.25-3 inches in East Central and Northeastern PA. This will bring flooding to some locations, especially in East Central and Northeastern PA. It will also be windy, with gusts of up to 45 mph on Long Island, during the day, and then becoming windy everywhere in the late afternoon and evening with gusts of up to 60 mph possible in some locations, except up to 75 mph possible on Long Island at night. At least it will be warm for Halloween with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Friday, rain will end early in the day from west to east, with clearing as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Saturday will then be nice with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in the morning in some locations. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s.
Monday will then be nice with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Tuesday clouds will increase with a chance of a shower at night as a disturbance passes southeast of our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Next Wednesday, November 6th, there will be a chance of a shower in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Next Thursday, November 7th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Friday, November 8th, and next Saturday, November 9th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain, or possibly even snow shower in parts of our area, as a weak disturbance passes through. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Friday and the 40’s next Saturday.
Next Sunday, November 10th, is looking variably cloudy with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Monday, November 11th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain developing as a disturbance may develop near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Next Tuesday, November 12th, there will be a chance of rain ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
