Watching a Nor’easter for Monday into Tuesday morning…
Today through Sunday will be variably cloudy with highs in the
mid 40’s to low 50’s today, the mid 30’s to low 40’s tomorrow, and the mid 30’s
to mid 40’s Sunday.
A strong Nor’easter will develop off the coast of the
Southeastern United States this weekend. This storm will then move northeastward
off the coast. There is some variability in the data as to how close this storm
comes to the coast as it passes our area. Right now it appears that the most
likely scenario is that the storm brushes our area with some passing rain
Monday into Tuesday morning, especially on Long Island and in Fairfield County,
CT, possibly mixing with snow before ending Tuesday morning in Northeastern PA.
Any track closer to the coast could bring heavy rain and strong wind to our
area Monday into Tuesday morning, and any track further off the coast would
bring less chance for rain. We will just have to wait and see how this works
out.
Monday will be cloudy with a chance of rain developing on
Long island and in Fairfield County, CT, and a chance of a shower elsewhere
during the day, then a chance of rain at night. Highs will be in the upper 30’s
to mid 40’s.
Tuesday there will be a chance of rain early in the morning,
possibly mixed with snow in Northeastern PA, then there will be clearing. Highs
will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Wednesday and Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in
the 40’s Wednesday and the mid 40’s to low 50’s Thursday.
Next Friday, November 22nd, will be variably
cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the 40’s.
Next Saturday, November 23rd, and next Sunday,
November 24th, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 30’s to
mid 40’s next Saturday and in the 40’s next Sunday.
Next Monday, November 25th, is then looking variably
cloudy with a chance of a shower early in the morning as a disturbance passes
through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s.
Next Tuesday, November 26th, through next
Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving Day) are then looking nice
with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Tuesday and Wednesday and in the
low to mid 40’s Thanksgiving Day.
Have a fantastic day!
