Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower in the morning in Northeastern PA as a warm front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Monday, clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening, with a chance of showers developing at night in Northeastern PA as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will range from the low to mid 50’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 60’s in Central NJ.
Tuesday, rain will develop in the morning from west to east as a cold front approaches our area. The rain may mix with or change to snow from west to east across our area as the cold front passes through. There could be a coating of snow in some places, especially in Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the morning and will range from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s on Eastern Long Island.
Below are the latest runs of the ECMWF (European model) snow map ensemble mean for Tuesday (on bottom) and the operational run of the ECMWF (European model on top). We will just have to wait and see how this works out. Those of you who have been following this the past few days will notice how the snow amounts have been lowering with time, as the model is starting to see the track of this storm inland across our area, rather than off the coast, which allows warm air to remain in place in our area longer. Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower on Eastern Long Island in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Thursday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Friday, November 15th, clouds will increase as a disturbance may develop in the Gulf of Mexico and then move in our direction. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Saturday, November 16th, there will be a chance of rain developing in the afternoon as the disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Sunday, November 17th, through next Wednesday, November 20th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower each day as the disturbance may stall near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday, the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Monday and Tuesday, and the mid 40’s to mid 50’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, November 21st, is then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
