Monday, November 11, 2019 - Evening Weather Discussion

Accumulating snow possible throughout our area tomorrow…

A cold front is approaching our area and will cause rain to develop in the morning from west to east, gradually mixing with and then changing to snow in most places in the morning and afternoon from west to east. A trace to an inch of snowfall accumulation will be possible, except for up to 2 inches possible in some of the highest elevations of Northeastern PA. It will also become windy with gusts of 20-40 mph possible. High temperatures will occur very early in the morning with highs ranging from the low 30’s in Northern Orange County, NY, to the mid 50’s to upper 50’s in Eastern Long Island. Temperatures will then drop to the mid 20’s to low 30’s by about sunrise in Northeastern PA, to the low to mid 30’s by mid-morning in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY, to the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern NJ, the rest of Southeastern NY State, Western Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, by noon, and by mid afternoon on Eastern Long Island.

Wednesday and Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s Wednesday and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Thursday.

Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower early in the morning, especially in Central NJ and on Long Island. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Saturday is then looking nice with highs in the low to mid 30’s.

Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a storm will likely develop near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Monday, November 18th, into the morning of next Wednesday, November 20th, are then looking cloudy with a chance of showers as a storm may be situated near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Monday and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Next Thursday, November 21st, is then looking nice with highs in the 50’s.

Next Friday, November 22nd, and next Saturday, November 23rd, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Friday and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Saturday.

Next Sunday, November 24th, is then looking nice with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
