Saturday, November 16, 2019 - Evening Weather Discussion

A strong Nor’easter is developing off the coast of the Southeastern United States…

Tomorrow, clouds will increase, with a chance of sprinkles or showers along the coast as the Nor’easter moves northward off the East Coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s..

Monday there will be a chance of light rain or drizzle, except for a chance of steady rain on Eastern Long Island, as the Nor’easter passes east of our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Tuesday there will be a chance of light rain ending early in the morning, followed by clearing as the Nor’easter pulls away from our area. The light rain could mix with or change to snow in parts of Northeastern PA before ending. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in the morning as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s and 40’s.

Thursday, clouds will increase, with a chance of a shower at night as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Friday there will be a chance of a shower in the morning, followed by clearing, as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s in the morning, then dropping in the afternoon.

Next Saturday, November 23rd, is then looking mostly sunny with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Sunday, November 24th, and next Monday, November 25th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a couple of disturbances pass to our south. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Next Tuesday, November 26th, and next Wednesday, November 27th, are then looking nice with highs in the 40’s next Tuesday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving Day), there will be a chance of rain or snow developing as a disturbance may develop near the NJ Coast. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Friday, November 29th, is then looking nice with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
