The rain will continue tonight, changing to snow in Northeastern PA before ending, and possibly mixing with snow before ending in parts of East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Northern Fairfield County, CT, as a cold front passes through our area. There could be a coating of snowfall accumulation in parts of Northeastern PA tonight.
Tomorrow, the rain and snow will end early in the morning, followed by variably cloudy skies and a chance of a snow flurry or possibly even a snow shower in some places, especially in Northeastern PA, as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs tomorrow will range from the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low 40’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long island.
Saturday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower in the morning and early afternoon as a weak disturbance passes to our north. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Monday, clouds will increase late in the day with a chance of rain developing in Northeastern PA at night. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Tuesday there will be a chance of rain, possibly mixing with or changing to snow from west to east across our area during the day as a disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Below is the latest ensemble mean snow accumulation map from the ECMWF (European model) for next Tuesday. This is the average snowfall from 50 different ways they run the European model for various conditions. We will just have to wait and see how this works out. Wednesday and next Thursday, November 14th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s Wednesday and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Thursday.
Next Friday, November 15th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as a disturbance may develop in the Southeastern United States and then approach our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Saturday, November 16th, through next Wednesday, November 17th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower each day as several disturbance may develop along a stationary front near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday, the 40’s next Sunday, and the 40’s to low 50’s next Monday through Wednesday.
