A cold front and disturbance are approaching our area and will cause light rain and drizzle to develop in East Central and Northeastern PA, and Southeastern NY State this morning and elsewhere this afternoon and evening from west to east. The rain will mix with or change to snow in parts of Northeastern PA, and possibly into parts of Northwestern NJ, Orange County, NY, and Northern Fairfield County, CT. A trace to an inch of accumulation will be possible in Northeastern PA, and a trace will be possible elsewhere. Highs will range from the mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to around 60 in East Central NJ.
Tomorrow rain and snow will end early in the morning as the cold front passes through our area. It will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in Northeastern PA as some Lake Effect moisture may reach that area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Saturday will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower in Northeastern PA, and a chance of a flurry or sprinkle elsewhere. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Monday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Tuesday, another cold front and disturbance will approach our area, bringing a chance of light rain or showers early in the morning, possibly gradually mixing with or changing to snow from west to east across our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Below is the latest ensemble mean snow accumulation map from the ECMWF (European model) for next Tuesday. This is the average snowfall from 50 different ways they run the European model for various conditions. We will just have to wait and see how this works out. Wednesday and next Thursday, November 14th, are then looking nice, but cold Wednesday, with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s Wednesday and the 30’s to low 40’s next Thursday.
Next Friday, November 15th, into the morning of next Saturday, November 16th, are looking variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as a disturbance may develop near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Friday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday.
Next Sunday, November 17th, is then looking nice with highs in the 40’s.
Next Monday, November 18th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the 40’s.
Next Tuesday, November 19th, and next Wednesday, November 20th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Tuesday and the 40’s to low 50’s next Wednesday.
