There will be some showers this evening as a disturbance passes to our north and then tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of snow showers or flurries in the morning in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph tonight and 55 mph tomorrow morning, especially around mid-day. Highs will be in the morning and will range from the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s to low 50’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island.
Black Friday and Saturday will then be nice, with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Black Friday and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Saturday.
Sunday, two disturbances will be approaching our area. One heading eastward from the Great Lakes area and one heading northeastward from the Southeastern United States. These two disturbances will merge off the NJ Coast, becoming a Nor’easter Sunday night and moving very slowly northeastward Monday. This will likely cause snow to develop in the morning, then change to rain in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island by late morning, then likely mixing with and changing to rain in East Central PA, Northeastern NJ, Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY State, and in Southern Fairfield County, CT, with rain or snow in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT. Highs will range from the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid upper 40’s along the coast and on Long Island.
Monday there will be a chance of rain in East Central PA, Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, and on Long Island, and rain or snow in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT. Highs will range from the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, to the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island.
Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Wednesday, December 4th, clouds will increase with a slight chance of rain or snow developing at night as a storm may form off the coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Thursday, December 5th, there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Friday, December 6th, through next Sunday, December 8th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Friday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Saturday, and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday.
Next Monday, December 9th and next Tuesday, December 10th, will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Wednesday, December 11th, there will be a chance of rain or snow with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
