Friday, December 13, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

Rain developing tonight, becoming heavy late at night and then rain or snow developing Monday afternoon or evening…

Clouds will increase this morning with rain developing around midday as a strong disturbance approaches our area. The rain will become steadier and heavier tonight. Highs will range from the upper 30’s in Northeastern PA, to the low 50’s along the coast and on Eastern Long Island.

Tomorrow there will be rain, heavy at times in the morning, ending at night. Some flooding will be possible with rainfall amounts of up to 2.5 inches possible in some locations. Highs will be in the 50’s, with some low 60’s in Central NJ.

Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower early in the morning in Northeastern PA, with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Monday clouds will increase, with rain or snow developing in the afternoon or evening, likely changing to rain at night. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Tuesday, rain will end in the late morning and early afternoon as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s.

Wednesday through next Thursday, December 26th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s Wednesday, the ow to mid 30’s Thursday, the 30’s Friday, the mid to upper 30’s next Saturday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Sunday through Christmas Day, and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Thursday.
