There will be a chance of a sprinkle tonight and then tomorrow will be variably cloudy with highs in the 40’s.
Sunday, clouds will increase, with rain developing in the afternoon and at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.
Monday there will be rain, as the disturbance passes through our area. The rain could mix with some freezing rain, sleet, or snow Monday night in parts of Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, before ending. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
New Year’s Eve, the rain, and some freezing rain, sleet, and snow will end in Southeastern NY State, Fairfield County, CT, and on Eastern Long Island in the morning, followed by clearing. There could a flurry during the day or at night in parts of Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
New Year’s Day will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Thursday, clouds will increase late in the day with highs in the low to mid 40’s.
Next Friday, January 3rd, into the morning of next Saturday, January 4th, there will be a chance of showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Friday and the 40’s to low 50’s next Saturday.
Next Sunday, January 4th, is then looking variably cloudy with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Monday, January 5th, is looking mostly sunny with highs in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Tuesday, January 6th, through next Thursday, January 8th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
