TODAY – precipitation changing to snow from west to east today, by around 7 am in Northwestern NJ, most of Southwestern NY State, and Northern Fairfield County, CT,  by about 10 am in all of Northern NJ (north of about a line from Trenton to Sandy Hook, including Staten Island), by about 1 pm in all of NJ and Western Long Island, and by 7 pm in Fairfield County, CT and all of Long Island, windy, with gusts of 30 mph inland and up to 40 mph along the coast, highs this morning from the low 30’s in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY, to the low to mid 40’s along the coast and on Eastern Long Island, dropping slightly in most places through the day, especially along the coast where temperatures will drop to the mid 30’s by early afternoon

TOMORROW – light snow and flurries ending from around 5 am in East Central and Northeastern PA, to around 7 am in NYC, and around midday on Eastern Long Island, lows from the upper teens to low 20’s in Northeastern PA to the low 30’s along the Coast and on Long Island, highs in the 30’s

Total possible snowfall accumulation:

1-2 inches:  Coastal NJ and Long Island

2-5 inches:  Inland Central NJ, NYC, Southern Fairfield County, CT

3-7 inches:  East Central PA, Northeastern NJ, Westchester County, NY, Northern Fairfield County, CT

5-7 inches:  Rockland and Putnam Counties in NY

5-10 inches:  Northwestern NJ

6-10 inches:  Orange County, NY

6-12 inches:  Northeastern PA

WEDNESDAY – chance of snow showers in the morning in East Central and Northeastern PA and a chance of flurries elsewhere, then variably cloudy during the day, with a chance of a snow shower or flurry everywhere at night, lows from the mid teens to the mid 20’s in Northern NJ to the upper 20’s to low 30’s along the coast and on Long Island, highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s

THURSDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a snow shower or flurry, lows in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s

FRIDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a snow shower or flurry, lows in the upper teens and 20’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

SATURDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the upper teens and 20’s, highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s

SUNDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mid single digits in inland Northwestern NJ to the mid 20’s along the coast and on Long Island, highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s

NEXT MONDAY – chance of rain, lows in the 30’s to low 40’s, highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s

NEXT TUESDAY – chance of rain ending in the morning, lows in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s, highs in the 40’s to low 50’s, dropping in the afternoon

NEXT WEDNESDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a snow shower in the morning, lows in the 20’s to low 30’s, highs in the 30’s

NEXT THURSDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the mid 20’s to low 30’s, highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s

NEXT FRIDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s, highs mid 40’s to low 50’s
