Today, rain will be likely, except for a chance of a shower this morning in Northeast PA. The rain could be heavy at times this afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Tomorrow there will be a chance of a shower in the morning, then rain will be likely in the afternoon, changing to snow at night from northwest to southeast, as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s in the morning, dropping rapidly in the evening.
Wednesday, there will be snow in the morning, ending from southwest to northeast, between about 8-10 am in Northeastern PA, 10am-12 noon in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY, 11 am and 1 pm in Northeastern NJ and Southeastern NY State, 12 noon to 3 pm in the rest of Southeastern NY State and NYC, between 1 pm and 3 pm in Central NJ and Fairfield County, CT, and between about 2-4 pm on Long Island. Total possible snowfall accumulation of 1-3 inches, lows in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the 30’s.
Thursday and Friday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s Thursday and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Friday.
Saturday there will be a chance of rain, possibly heavy at times. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Sunday and next Monday, December 16th, will be nice with highs in the 40’s Sunday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday, December 17th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Wednesday, December 18th, through next Sunday, December 22nd, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Wednesday through Friday, and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday and Sunday.
