Saturday, December 28, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

Rain and a bit of wintry weather on the way tomorrow into Tuesday morning...

Today will be variably cloudy with highs in the 40’s.

Tomorrow, clouds will increase with rain developing in the late afternoon and at night from west to east across our area, with some freezing rain possible in the late afternoon and at night in Northeastern PA, as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Monday there will be rain, with some freezing rain and snow possible at night in parts of Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Northern Fairfield County, CT, as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

New Year’s Eve, rain will end in the morning and early afternoon from west to east, with some snow possible in parts of Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, as the disturbance departs our area. It will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower at night. Highs will be in the 40’s.

New Year’s Day will then be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Thursday clouds will increase late in the day with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Friday will be cloudy with a chance of showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Next Saturday, January 4th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Next Sunday, January 5th, through next Wednesday, January 8th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday, the 30’s to low 40’s next Monday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Tuesday, and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday, January 9th, clouds will increase with a chance of an afternoon snow shower as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Next Friday, January 10th, there will be a chance of rain or snow with highs in the 30’s.
