Today will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s.
Tomorrow clouds will increase with light rain and drizzle developing in the afternoon, becoming heavier at night as a strong disturbance approaches from the Southeastern United States. Highs will range from the upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low 50’s along the coast.
Saturday, there will be rain, heavy at times in the morning. There could be some flooding, with rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches possible. Highs will range from the upper 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low 60’s in East Central NJ.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower in the afternoon or evening. Highs will range from the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Monday, clouds will increase with a chance of snow developing at night in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, and rain or snow or a mixture of rain and snow in Southeastern PA, Central and Southern NJ, NYC, and on Long Island, as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Tuesday, there will be a chance of snow ending during the day in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, and rain or snow or a mixture of rain and snow ending in Southeastern PA, Central and Southern NJ, in NYC, and on Long Island, as the disturbance passes through our area. Lows will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, with highs from the low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low 40’s along the NJ Coast.
Wednesday through Christmas Eve are then looking nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s Wednesday, the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Thursday, December 19th, through next Saturday, December 21st, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Sunday, December 22nd, the 30’s next Monday, December 23rd, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day, clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
