Thursday, December 26, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

Some 50’s possible again in parts of our area tomorrow and then some cold air is in sight the week after next…

It will be variably cloudy through Saturday, with just a chance of a sprinkle tomorrow. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s today, the mid 40’s to mid 50’s tomorrow, and the mid to upper 40’s Saturday.

Sunday, clouds will increase, with rain developing in the afternoon and evening from west to east as a strong disturbance approaches our area from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s.

Monday, rain will be likely as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s.

New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the 40’s New Year’s Eve and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s New Year’s Day.

Next Thursday, January 2nd, there will be a chance of rain, possibly starting as freezing rain or sleet in some inland locations, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the in upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Friday, January 3rd, through next Wednesday, January 8th, are then looking nice, but the cold air will be returning next Tuesday, January 7th. Highs will gradually drop from the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Friday, to the 40’s next Saturday, the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday, the 30’s next Monday, to the mid 20’s to low 30’s next Tuesday and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Wednesday.
