There will be a chance of a shower or sprinkle this morning and then rain will be likely this afternoon and evening, changing to snow tonight from northwest to southeast, starting in the evening in Northeastern PA, to late at night along the NJ Coast and on Long Island, as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will range from the upper 40’s to low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the low 60’s in East Central NJ.
Tomorrow there will be a chance of snow in the morning, ending between about 8-10 am in Northeastern PA, 2-3 pm along the NJ Coast, and 3-4 pm on Eastern Long Island. Total possible snowfall accumulations of 1-3 inches are possible throughout our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 30’s.
Friday, clouds will increase with a chance of a shower in the afternoon or evening and then rain will develop at night as a strong storm system develops in the Southeastern United States and then moves northward towards our area. Highs will be in the 40’s, except there will be some low 50’s along the NJ Coast and on Eastern Long Island.
Saturday there will be rain, possibly heavy at times early in the morning, then it will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or sprinkle as the storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Monday, clouds will increase late in the day, as a storm system approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30’s.
Next Tuesday, December 17th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30’s.
Next Wednesday, December 18th, there will be a chance of rain or snow ending early in the morning as the storm system departs our area, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Next Thursday, December 19th, and next Friday, December 20th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 30’s next Thursday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Friday.
Next Saturday, December 21st, and next Sunday, December 22nd, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday and in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday.
Next Monday, December 23rd, is then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
