It will be fairly nice through Friday, with just a chance of a flurry or sprinkle today, a chance of a flurry or snow shower in Northeastern PA tomorrow, and a chance of a rain or snow shower Friday, especially at night, as a weak disturbance develops off the coast Friday. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s today, the mid 30’s to low 40’s tomorrow and Wednesday, the low to mid 30’s Thursday, and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Friday.
Saturday, we will have to watch as two disturbances approach our area, one from the west in the Northern Jet Stream, and one from the South in the Southern Jet Stream. If these two disturbances merge they could form a strong Nor’easter that would bring our area heavy precipitation. If they partly merge they could bring our area some light to moderate precipitation, and if they fail to merge we could be left with variably cloudy skies and just a chance of a rain or snow shower. Time will tell. Highs will, be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s, or cooler, depending on how this situation develops.
Sunday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending early in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Monday, February 3rd through next Wednesday, February 5th, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Monday, the 40’s next Tuesday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, February 6th and next Friday, February 7th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance may pass through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Next Saturday, February 8th, and next Sunday, February 9th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Have a fantastic day!
