TODAY – some light rain and sprinkles likely this morning then variably cloudy with a chance of a snow squall, snow shower, or snow flurry this afternoon or evening, a quick coating to an inch of accumulation is possible in any snow squall, several inches of total accumulation from snow showers and snow squalls possible in some of the highest elevations of Northeastern PA, windy, with gusts of up to 50 mph possible, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

TOMORROW – variably cloudy, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s

SATURDAY – snow developing in the late morning and early afternoon from west to east across our area, gradually changing to rain at night from south to north, except possibly in Putnam and Northeastern Fairfield County, CT, lows in the mid teens to low 20’s, highs at night in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

Total possible snowfall accumulation:

Trace to an inch:  Southern portions of Central NJ and Long Island

One to Two Inches:  Southern portions of Central NJ and New York City

One to three inches:  East Central PA, Northeastern NJ, Southern Westchester County, NY

Two to four inches:  Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, the rest of Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT

SUNDAY – rain likely changing back to light snow and snow showers early in the morning before ending, then variably cloudy, lows from the mid to upper 20’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 30’s along the coast and on Eastern Long Island, highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s

MONDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the 20’s to low 30’s

TUESDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the upper single digits and teens, highs in the upper teens and 20’s

WEDNESDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mid single digits to upper teens, highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s

NEXT THURSDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mdi teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s

NEXT FRIDAY – increasing cloudiness late in the day, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s

NEXT SATURDAY – chance of rain or snow, lows in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

NEXT SUNDAY – chance of rain or snow ending in the morning, lows in t he mid 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the 30’s

NEXT MONDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a snow shower, lows in the upper teens to mdi 20’s, highs in the low to mid 30’s

NEXT TUESDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s

NEXT WEDNESDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s
