It will be fairly nice through Friday with just a chance of a flurry in Northeastern PA today into tomorrow morning. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s today, the mid 30’s to low 40’s tomorrow, the low to mid 30’s Thursday, and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Friday.
Saturday there will be a chance of rain or snow as two disturbances approach our area, one from the Northern Jet Stream passing through the Great Lakes area, and once in the Southern Jet Stream approaching from the Southeastern United States. It is still unclear as to how much, or if, these two disturbances will interact. If the two disturbances fail to interact, we would likely just have a chance of a rain or snow shower. If the two disturbances partially interact, there would be a chance of some rain or snow. If the two disturbances fully interact and merge, they would form a strong Nor’easter that could affect our area, bringing a chance of heavy rain or snow, and strong wind. We will just have to wait and see over the next couple of days how this works out, so be sure to check back for updates. Highs Saturday will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s, or colder if the two disturbances merge and form a strong Nor’easter.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Tuesday, February 4th, into the morning of next Wednesday, February 5th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s and 40’s next Tuesday and the upper 20’s and 30’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, February 6th will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 30’s.
Next Friday, February 7th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Saturday, February 8th, there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning, then it will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Sunday, February 9th, and next Monday, February 10th, will then be variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s next Sunday and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Monday.
Have a fantastic day!
