Today there will be rain, with some freezing rain this morning in parts of Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT. The rain could become heavy at times tonight. It will also become windy, with gusts of up to 50 mph possible in some locations tonight. Highs will range from the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Northeastern PA and Orange County, NY, to the low 60’s tonight in inland portions of South Central NJ.
Tomorrow, the rain will change to snow in the late morning and early afternoon in Northeastern PA, with possible snowfall accumulations there of a trace to up to 6 inches from southeast to northwest. There could also be a trace to an inch of snow in Northwestern East Central PA, far Northwestern NJ, and in Orange County, NY. Elsewhere, the rain will end in the afternoon and evening, with total rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches in most places. It will be very windy, with gusts of up to 65 mph possible as the disturbance will bomb out over our area. Highs in the morning from the mid 30’s to mid 50’s in Northeastern PA from northwest to southeast, to the low to mid 60’s in East Central NJ, then dropping in the late morning and afternoon.

Saturday and Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry. Highs will range from the 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 30’s in Central NJ Saturday, to the 30’s to low 40’s Sunday.
Monday and Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower Monday into Tuesday morning. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Thursday, February 13th there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Friday, February 14th, and next Saturday, February 15th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Friday and the 30’s to low 40’s next Saturday.
Next Sunday, February 16th will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Monday, February 17th, there will be a chance of rain or snow developing at night. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Tuesday, February 18th, there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Wednesday, February 19th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
