Rain developing tonight, possibly starting briefly as snow in parts of East Central and Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, changing to rain, and possibly some freezing rain in parts of Northeastern PA, as a disturbance approaches from the west. Some light snowfall accumulations are possible in Northeastern PA, far Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, and some ice accumulations are possible in Northeastern PA.
Tomorrow any freezing rain in Northeastern PA will change to rain, with rain then ending in the late afternoon and evening from west to east as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will range from the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s to mid 50’s in Central NJ.
Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow squall, snow shower, or snow flurry in the morning, as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs will range from the low to mid 20’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 30’s in Central NJ.
Saturday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Sunday and Monday will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 40’s Sunday and the mid 40’s to low 50’s Monday.
Tuesday into early next Wednesday, February 19th, there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s Tuesday and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, February 20th, through next Sunday, February 23rd, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s next Thursday, the mid to upper 30’s next Friday, the low to mid 40’s next Saturday, and the mid to upper 40’s next Sunday.
Next Monday, February 24th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Next Tuesday, February 25th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
