Wednesday, April 22, 2020 - Evening Weather Discussion

More rain on the way…

First of all, check out this absolutely fantastic photo of the storm yesterday that produced the tornado in Toms River, NJ. This photo was submit by Joel Bernstein of the storm as it passed through Seven President Park in Long Branch. What an incredible photo!  Thanks for sharing this with us Joel!


Tomorrow clouds will increase with a slight chance of a shower during the day and then rain will develop at night as a disturbance approaches our area from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Friday the rain will end at night as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to low 50’s.

Saturday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Sunday there will be rain as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Monday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Tuesday there will be a chance of a shower as another disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 50’s.

Next Wednesday, April 29th, into the morning of next Thursday, April 30th, there will be a chance of rain as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 50’s next Wednesday and the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Thursday.

Next Friday, May 1st, and next Saturday, May 2nd are then looking mostly sunny with highs in the 50’s next Friday and the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Saturday.

Next Sunday, May 3rd, through next Tuesday, May 5th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
